And HD video. Plus a 60 frames a second photo burst mode.

The Exilim site says under a thousand bucks. Wow.

Gizmodo: Patience advised on going Blu Ray

A nice look here from Gizmodo at where things stand on Blu Ray DVD. "Sony's more affordable new Blu-ray player will hit the market this summer for $400. Nothing built by Sony or anyone else should be considered before then, the one exception being the PS3."

Blu-Ray won, but you might want to grab an HD-DVD on the cheap...

So here's a reason to buy an HD-DVD player at a firesale price: "HD DVD players also make great upscaling DVD players" for your old non-HD disks. Might be worth grabbing one if you have an HD set and are going to wait for the new Blu-Ray players (and the story is a good overview of what 's up now that Blu-Ray has won the HD disk format battle).
